I am grateful for the snow Utah is getting. I am also grateful for the blankie I wrap in when I am working from home during snow storms.
Also, I am grateful my husband is picking up the kids today so I don't have to leave the warmth. Thanks Mr. Rogers.

3: Doing what I love
Gratitude day 3:
I am super happy that regardless what I am doing, there is usually a silver lining. Value exchange is important. If the value exchange is not there, then don't do it! The trick is to be aware of what you personally think value looks like.
Sometimes it is evident.
Example 1: My job can be stressful. < They pay me money to do my job. I get to draw pictures and design stuff.
Sometimes I get to fish for it.
Example 2: Changing a tire in the snow is not fun. It is cold and my fingers hurt. < I am honing my sweet survival skills and I'll teach my kids know how to do this so they are never stranded.
Sometimes there is no value exchange. Don't do it!
Example 3: I want to light my hair on fire because everyone is driving me batty. = I have no hair, and now I have burn scars. I apparently was already batty before I interacted with people.
There is usually more then one value exchange is every situation. The more you find, the higher quality of life... and the more adults points you get!
It feels like a Tuesday < but really it's Friday.
Love, Mimi

2: Doctors Rock!
Gratitude 2: Doctors Rock!
This morning I woke up to my little girl having an ear ache. After taking a visit to the doctor, we now know she has an ear infection and strep throat. It is odd how happy kids are even when they are terribly sick. I am so happy that we have healthcare!

A year full of graditude
My good friend Kevo knows I'm a gratitude junkie. He sent me this:
" so my sister was inspire by this to do her own album an fb. i think i will too.
... hey mims .... Mimi... this is your kinda thing exactly... *poke** hey mims."
with this attached link:

He is right, it is my kinda thing exactly.
Jan 1: I'm grateful for friends. Especially ones who stick around for years.

Better late then never
It's been a while since my last post. Here is a mini Mimi update: new job, 3 months from age 30, married to my best friend, and I still love to laugh.
I
am so glad I'm alive. Checklist for today: play, smile, smell the rain
enjoy the leaves, cuddle, eat good food, be kind, listen to good music,
draw pictures and anything else in-between. Have an awesome day,
daydream, and be nice.
Love, Mimi
